Overview

Day 01 :

Colombo → Sigiriya

Begin your journey from Colombo or the airport and stop at the magnificent Dambulla Cave Temple, a UNESCO World Heritage Site adorned with ancient murals and Buddha statues, before continuing to Sigiriya

Day 02 :

Sigiriya Rock & Village Tour

Climb the iconic Sigiriya Rock Fortress, marvel at its ancient frescoes, and explore the surrounding village to experience traditional rural life. End the day with a fascinating silk-making demonstration, witnessing age-old craftsmanship in action.

Day 03 :

Polonnaruwa → Kandy

Travel from Sigiriya to the UNESCO world heritage Polonnaruwa Ancient City, exploring its well-preserved ruins, statues, and temples that reflect Sri Lanka’s rich medieval history. Afterward, continue your journey to the cultural city of Kandy, nestled in the scenic hill country.

Day 04 :

Kandy sightseeing

Explore the sacred Temple of the Tooth, home to Sri Lanka’s most revered Buddhist relic, stroll through the lush Peradeniya Botanical Garden, and end the day with a vibrant Kandy cultural dance performance showcasing traditional music and costumes.

Day 05 :

Nuwara Eliya

Journey from Kandy to the “Little England” of Sri Lanka, Nuwara Eliya, pausing at a tea factory en route to discover the art of tea production amidst scenic green landscapes.

Day 06 :

Nuwara Eliya exploration

Enjoy a full day of sightseeing in Nuwara Eliya, from spiritual stops at Sita Amman Kovil, historical landmarks like the Old Post Office, relaxing moments at Gregory Lake, a glimpse of the Grand Hotel, and the colorful flora of Hakgala Botanical Garden.

Day 07 :

Return to Colombo

Travel back from Nuwara Eliya to Colombo or Bandaranaike International Airport, enjoying the scenic hill country landscapes one last time, passing tea plantations, rolling hills, and picturesque villages along the way.
